However, the Silver submachine gun, the Survivor's Special, Ashmaker and Grognak's axe cannot be renamed, nor will they pick up any prefixes from modding. This in turn provides players with a reason to stick around or, in some cases, a reason to return to the game after a long hiatus. New mods for the game are being created all the time, many of which can completely change the look and feel of settlements. While some might perhaps see this as a testament to the game's quality though, others will instead point to the excellent work being done by the game's talented and dedicated modding community.
